After completing a four-year carpenters union apprenticeship and a three-year residential apprenticeship, Charlie Mann knew he wanted to operate a construction firm. In 1979, Charles Mann General Contracting, Inc. opened for business and thirty years later, he is proud of the reputation that he built with his staff in the construction industry.

Today, Charles Mann General Contracting offers a wide range of construction services to meet the needs of clients in a variety of markets including government, offices, schools, retail, restaurant, athletic facilities, industrial and mixed use including residential. Charles Mann General Contracting has employed the same highly skilled foremen for more than 25 years. They are experienced carpenters who provide our clients with full-time on-site supervision from ground breaking to ribbon cutting. We self-perform much of our work. From framing, siding, and millwork to doors and hardware, we can assure you the highest quality of carpentry down to the smallest details of your project. Our expert craftsmanship earned one of our historic restoration projects the Hunterdon County Planning Board Rehabilitative Adaptive Use Award.
